Do not dwell in the past; do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. – Buddha
All of us seek something better in life
Why is it then we see sadness and strife
Our brother's are hungry our sister's are too
on the street corner their hand out to you
Do you ignore them and walk right on by
or does your heart weep as you look in their eye
What Karma has brought them you really don't know
a life torn asunder or addiction did grow
And if you look farther encompass the world
you'll see the same picture the truth will unfurl
I am but one person help where I can
My Buddha Heart weeps for the downtrodden man
